We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
Maintain proper accounting records and ensure data integrity.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Budgeting & Compliance
Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Ensure compliance with Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) regulations and other statutory requirements.
Handle tax planning, filings, and statutory payments (VAT, PAYE, SSNIT, etc.).
Support financial controls and risk management processes.
Payroll & Auditing
Manage payroll processing ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain payroll records and statutory deductions.
Coordinate internal audits and support external audit processes.
Ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready and compliant.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA, or equivalent) is NOT required.
Minimum of 3–5 years relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of Ghanaian tax laws and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
