Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Peri-Operative Nurse to join our surgical team. The successful candidate will provide safe, high-quality care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring optimal outcomes and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the operating theatre for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations.
  • Monitor patients’ condition in the recovery room and provide post-operative care.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and theatre documentation.
  • Collaborate with the surgical and nursing team to optimize patient care and workflow.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with a Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
  • Additional certification in Perioperative/Theatre Nursing is required.
  • Valid license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating theatre, surgical ward, or recovery room.
  • Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.
