Job Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Manager – Consumer Marketing to lead the development and execution of consumer-focused marketing strategies. The successful candidate will drive customer acquisition, loyalty, and retention initiatives while delivering sustainable commercial growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute consumer marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive customer acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and retention initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform decision-making.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
- Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure maximum ROI.
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with broader business goals.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
- Apply agile principles and methodologies to improve marketing execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize strategies using data-driven insights.
Educational Requirements
- University Degree in Marketing or a relevant field.
- A Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience.
- At least 5 years in a managerial role within an FMCG or telecommunications organization.
- Experience in a multinational environment is required.
Professional & Technical Competencies
- Strong knowledge of marketing concepts and consumer marketing.
- Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.
- Expertise in loyalty and retention management.
- Strong project and vendor management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
- Proficiency in marketing and digital marketing practices.
- Working knowledge of agile principles and methodologies.
- Experience with MapInfo and Insightful Miner is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Strong business planning capabilities.
