General Manager – Home Technology (Full-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager – Home Technology to lead the strategic development and execution of home technology solutions, including broadband and fiber services. The successful candidate will drive technology innovation, enhance customer experience, and ensure alignment between technology delivery and commercial performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of home technology solutions, including broadband and FTTH services.
  • Drive network and technology transformation initiatives to support business growth.
  • Oversee the rollout and optimization of broadband infrastructure and services.
  • Align technology delivery with commercial objectives to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion customer experience improvements across all home technology offerings.
  • Lead digital and IT transformation initiatives within the organization.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and vendor relationships to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and scalable technology solutions.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Apply agile methodologies to enhance execution efficiency and innovation.

Educational Requirements

  • First Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Postgraduate Degree in a business-related discipline (e.g., MSc, MBA) is required.
  • Relevant professional certifications in technology, telecommunications, project management, or business (e.g., PMP, ITIL, Lean) are an added advantage.
  • Scrum and Agile certifications are an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in telecommunications management, broadband technologies, and customer experience management.
  • At least 5 years in a senior management role within the technology or telecommunications industry.
  • Proven experience in broadband/FTTH rollout, IT or digital transformation, network evolution, or large-scale technology transformation.
  • Demonstrated ability to align technology delivery with commercial performance goals.
  • Strong experience in vendor and partner management.
