Job Summary

Ayambuno Solutions is seeking a skilled and hardworking Welding Technician to support fabrication and metal works operations for container homes, offices, and engineering projects. The successful candidate will assist the Lead Fabricator in welding, cutting, assembling, and installing metal structures while ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Location: Tema Motorway Roundabout

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Fabricator in welding and fabrication activities
• Perform cutting, welding, grinding, and assembly of metal components
• Assist in the fabrication of container homes, office structures, and related engineering works
• Interpret basic fabrication drawings and measurements accurately
• Operate welding and fabrication tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and machinery
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the workshop and work areas
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use protective equipment at all times
• Assist with installation and site-related fabrication works when required

Requirements

• Certificate, NVTI, Technical School qualification, or relevant experience in Welding and Fabrication
• Minimum of 1-3 years’ practical welding/fabrication experience
• Ability to operate welding machines and fabrication tools
• Good understanding of metal fabrication and engineering processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to work under pressure

Preferred Skills

• Experience in container fabrication or structural metal works
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
