A reputable company in Accra is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to join its construction and project team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in carpentry works, measurements, material estimation, and site-based project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate site measurements for carpentry and construction works
• Prepare drawings, sketches, and basic work plans for proposed projects
• Source and recommend suitable materials for assigned jobs
• Prepare cost estimates and material quantities
• Carry out carpentry installation, repairs, and finishing works
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress of ongoing works
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, artisans, and other construction workers
• Ensure all works meet safety and quality standards
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or related construction role
• Ability to read measurements and interpret drawings
• Good knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and finishing techniques
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Technical training or vocational certification in Carpentry/Woodwork is an advantage
• Must be reliable, disciplined, and physically fit for site work

GHS 2,800 – 3,600 Monthly
