PRESCHOOL TEACHER

About the Role

We are seeking a warm, patient, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The successful candidate will guide early childhood development through structured learning, play-based activities, and positive classroom engagement.

This role requires a caring professional who understands early years education and actively supports children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that support early childhood learning and development.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment for preschool learners.
• Use play-based learning techniques to support literacy, numeracy, creativity, and social skills.
• Manage classroom behaviour positively and maintain discipline in a supportive manner.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians when necessary.
• Prepare teaching materials and learning aids to enhance classroom activities.
• Support children’s emotional and social development through care, attention, and encouragement.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and classroom activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to improve teaching outcomes.

Educational Requirements

• Previous teaching experience in a preschool or early years educational setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive and structured learning environment.
• Experience working effectively with young children in a nurturing capacity.
