Role Summary
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the organization’s marketing vision, brand strategy, and market expansion initiatives across Ghana and the broader African market. The successful candidate will develop high-impact marketing campaigns, strengthen brand visibility, drive digital growth, and lead a high-performing marketing team to achieve measurable business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals
- Strengthen brand positioning and increase market visibility across target markets
- Lead brand development initiatives that enhance customer engagement and market relevance
- Identify new market opportunities and drive business growth initiatives
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Lead digital marketing, social media, and online engagement strategies
- Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Monitor campaign performance and use analytics to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI
- Drive innovation in digital communication, customer acquisition, and audience engagement
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic business objectives
- Manage relationships with external agencies, media partners, and key stakeholders
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication platforms
Market Intelligence & Performance Optimization
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Monitor industry trends and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities
- Develop marketing performance metrics and provide regular reporting to executive management
- Recommend data-driven improvements that strengthen brand and commercial performance

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Professional certification such as CIM, AMA, or equivalent preferred
- 8–10 years of senior-level marketing leadership experience
- Strong understanding of Ghanaian and African markets
- Proven experience in digital marketing, brand management, and campaign leadership
- Immediate availability preferred
