Group HR & Administration Manager

Location: Accra
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Summary

The Group HR & Administration Manager will lead and build the entire people function across all entities within the group. The successful candidate will design and implement HR strategy, strengthen organisational culture, and oversee all HR and administrative operations while ensuring alignment with business goals across the group structure.


Key Responsibilities

Group HR Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute a group-wide HR strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Build and lead a scalable people function across all entities
  • Drive organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
  • Establish HR policies, frameworks, and governance standards across the group

Talent Management & Organisational Development

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies across all entities
  • Lead performance management systems and succession planning initiatives
  • Drive leadership development and employee engagement programmes
  • Strengthen organisational culture and employee experience across the group

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and internal policies
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination across entities
  • Manage employee relations and resolve complex HR issues
  • Maintain accurate HR data, reporting, and analytics for decision-making

Administration & Shared Services Oversight

  • Oversee administrative functions across all group companies
  • Standardize operational HR and administrative processes
  • Improve efficiency in HR systems, documentation, and reporting structures
  • Ensure smooth coordination between HR, finance, and operational units

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR leadership roles
  • Proven experience building and managing HR functions across multiple entities or business units
  • Strong knowledge of labour laws, HR systems, and organisational development practices
  • Experience in strategic HR leadership and workforce transformation
