Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee procurement for all company operations
  • Review purchase requests, source quotations & assess compliance
  • Negotiate pricing and terms; issue POs and follow up on deliveries
  • Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance
  • Support urgent procurement for Workshop, Maintenance & project sites
  • Coordinate with Stores on stock levels and re-order points
  • Maintain complete procurement records and ensure audit readiness
  • Prepare weekly procurement reports to management
  • Supervise and guide the procurement team; enforce discipline & process standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • 5-8 years’ procurement experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory/managerial role
  • Strong experience in road construction, heavy equipment, and industrial procurement
  • Skilled in purchasing materials, equipment parts, fuel/lubricants, consumables & subcontractor services
  • Strong negotiation and contract management ability
  • Proficient in Excel, ERP and procurement systems

Key Skills:

  • Strong sourcing, tendering & supplier evaluation
  • Ability to interpret material specs and technical requirements
  • Procurement planning aligned to project timelines
  • Contract drafting, negotiation & cost control
  • Inventory coordination with Stores/Warehouse
  • Excellent leadership, communication & stakeholder engagement
  • High integrity, analytical thinking & proactive problem-solving
