Position Summary

The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining production efficiency while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
• Ensure machinery operates efficiently and safely at all times.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations.
• Adhere to workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to achieve operational targets.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Hands-on industrial or technical experience in mechanical fitting, maintenance, or related fields.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Technical training, trade certification, or relevant practical experience will be an added advantage.
