Position Summary

The Carpenters and Masons will play a vital role in supporting construction, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. Successful candidates will contribute to the delivery of quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards, project timelines, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Carpenters

• Construct, install, repair, and maintain wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble materials according to project requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Masons

• Construct, repair, and maintain structures using concrete, blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials.
• Prepare and apply mortar, cement, and related materials.
• Interpret construction plans and specifications accurately.
• Ensure precision, durability, and quality in masonry work.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on existing structures when required.

General Responsibilities

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Complete assigned tasks within project timelines and quality standards.
• Support other construction and maintenance activities as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess:

• Hands-on industrial, construction, or technical experience in carpentry, masonry, or related trades.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Relevant trade certifications, vocational training, or practical experience will be an added advantage.
• Good understanding of construction tools, equipment, materials, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions is desirable.
