On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Welder to join a growing team in Oyibi. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship while maintaining high safety standards.

Role Overview

As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. You will work with various welding equipment and materials to support operational and production requirements.

The successful candidate will demonstrate technical competence, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on metal structures and components.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and weld materials according to project requirements.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic care of welding equipment.
• Identify defects and carry out corrective repairs when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess:

• A minimum of Senior High School (SHS) qualification or its equivalent.

Experience

You should have:

• A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of practical welding experience.
• Experience working with metal fabrication, repairs, or industrial welding projects.
• Ability to work independently and consistently produce quality workmanship.

Additional Requirement

• Ability to read and understand instructions, measurements, technical drawings, and work specifications.
