On behalf of our client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cylinder Painter / Sprayer to join a growing operations team in Oyibi. Role Overview

As a Cylinder Painter / Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing cylinders and related equipment to meet quality, safety, and operational requirements. You will ensure surfaces are properly prepared, coatings are applied accurately, and finished products meet company standards.

This position is ideal for individuals with practical painting and spraying experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Prepare cylinders and metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing imperfections.
• Apply paint, coatings, and protective finishes using spray equipment and other approved methods.
• Ensure painted cylinders meet established quality and appearance standards.
• Inspect finished work to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies.
• Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and operational requirements.
• Operate painting and spraying equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of painting tools and equipment.
• Follow production schedules and complete assigned tasks within specified timelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Report equipment faults, quality concerns, or safety issues promptly.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

You should possess:

• A minimum of Senior High School (SHS) qualification or its equivalent.

Experience

You should have:

• A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of practical experience in industrial painting, spray painting, cylinder painting, or a related field.
• Experience working with spray guns, painting equipment, and coating applications.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.

Additional Requirement

• Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and basic operational documentation.
