Job Summary

A reputable professional services firm based in East Legon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Trainee to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are interested in building a long-term career in accounting, auditing, taxation, and corporate compliance.

The successful candidate will receive practical exposure to auditing assignments, accounting processes, statutory compliance, and business advisory services while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting financial and operational audit assignments.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements and accounting records.
• Participate in audit planning, fieldwork, documentation, and report preparation.
• Assist with tax administration and statutory compliance activities.
• Support the preparation and filing of annual returns and regulatory documents.
• Help maintain accurate accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Perform data analysis and reconciliations as required.
• Assist with client correspondence and administrative assignments.
• Undertake other duties assigned by supervisors to support professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Banking & Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in auditing and accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional certification students (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) will have an advantage.
