Role Purpose
You will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support financial reporting activities to ensure compliance, transparency, and efficiency in all accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting documentation
- Process payments, receipts, invoices, and financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts on a regular basis
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company financial procedures
- Assist with audit preparations and provide required financial documentation
- Maintain proper filing systems for all financial records
- Support the Finance Team with additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
