Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate quality leads and convert prospects into long-term business partnerships.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned sales targets and performance indicators.
Market Research & Opportunity Identification
- Monitor industry developments, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Search for relevant engineering, construction, mining, and infrastructure projects as well as tender opportunities.
- Evaluate potential business opportunities and recommend strategic actions to management.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.
- Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
- Strengthen client loyalty through proactive engagement and relationship-building initiatives.
Marketing & Brand Promotion
- Promote and enhance the company’s brand, reputation, and visibility within the industry.
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, business development initiatives, and networking activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and stakeholder meetings where required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, project, and operations teams to develop a thorough understanding of the company’s services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, presentations, tender submissions, and client solutions.
- Provide market feedback and customer insights to support business planning and service improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven sales and marketing experience, preferably within the construction, engineering, mining, or related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, generate leads, and close business deals successfully.
- Experience in tender sourcing, bid support, and business development activities will be an advantage.
