Key Responsibilities
The Lecturer will:
- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
- Develop and update teaching materials in line with academic standards
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students in research and academic work
- Participate in departmental and faculty academic activities
- Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Support curriculum development and continuous academic improvement
- Contribute to laboratory and clinical training where applicable
- Participate in quality assurance and institutional service activities
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following minimum requirements:
- Hold a PhD in Pathology, Laboratory Medicine, or a related discipline, OR
- Be a clinician with a Membership certificate from a recognised professional body
Additional requirements:
- Demonstrated ability or potential to teach at tertiary level
- Evidence of research interest or scholarly activity will be an advantage
