The Opportunity

Multi-Build Limited is seeking experienced and highly motivated Resident Engineers to oversee construction activities across multiple project sites. This full-time role is ideal for engineering professionals who are passionate about delivering projects to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

As a Resident Engineer, you will provide technical leadership on site, coordinate project execution, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and work closely with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Resident Engineer, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on assigned project sites.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor compliance with quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Review contractor submissions, technical documentation, and work methodologies to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering support to contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Conduct routine site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and industry best practices.
• Prepare and submit accurate site progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, site documentation, and engineering logs.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the completion of projects within approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant post-qualification experience in construction supervision and project execution.
• Professional membership with a recognized engineering body will be an added advantage.
