Job Overview
As the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director, Telecel Cash, you will provide high-level administrative, operational, and project coordination support to the Managing Director. You will manage executive priorities, coordinate strategic initiatives, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and ensure the smooth execution of day-to-day business activities.
This role requires a proactive professional with exceptional organisational skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Proactively manage the Managing Director’s calendar, ensuring priorities are aligned with strategic business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining professional and timely communication.
- Draft, review, and refine executive correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, workshops, leadership engagements, and corporate events, ensuring seamless execution.
- Manage travel arrangements, itineraries, documentation, and other administrative requirements for the Managing Director.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Telecel Cash leadership team as required.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of strategic projects and business initiatives led by the Managing Director.
- Track project milestones, maintain documentation, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Handle highly confidential information with discretion while ensuring compliance with company policies and data governance requirements.
- Coordinate Telecel Cash leadership meetings, team huddles, and budget planning activities.
- Support budget coordination, monitor expenditure, and assist in financial reporting activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, workflow efficiency, and team collaboration.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to support informed decision-making.
Education
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
The successful candidate should have:
- Demonstrated experience providing executive-level administrative support in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Experience in project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management.
- Experience supporting senior executives and coordinating cross-functional business activities.
- Experience managing budgets or supporting financial administration will be an advantage.
