We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Laundry Attendants to join our Housekeeping team. The successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation by ensuring all guest and hotel linens are professionally cleaned, cared for, and delivered on time.

Position Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, ironing, folding, sorting, and distributing hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency. The successful candidate will ensure laundry operations support Marriott’s commitment to exceptional guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and distribute hotel linens, uniforms, towels, and guest laundry.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, and wear, and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure all laundry items meet Marriott’s quality and presentation standards before distribution.
• Handle guest laundry with care, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room, equipment, and work areas.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report shortages of detergents, chemicals, and other materials.
• Follow proper laundry handling procedures to prevent damage or loss of guest and hotel property.
• Adhere to all health, safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
• Support inventory control by maintaining accurate records of linen and uniform usage where required.
• Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Assist the Housekeeping department with additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

Applicants should possess:

• Senior High School Certificate, Technical/Vocational Certificate, HND, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification.
• Training in Hospitality, Housekeeping, Laundry Operations, or a related field will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant, Housekeeping Attendant, Linen Room Attendant, or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
• Experience working in a hotel, laundry facility, or hospitality environment will be an advantage.
