We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-School Teacher to join our team at our Tema–Dawhenya campus.

Role Overview

The Pre-School Teacher plays a vital role in supporting the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young learners. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to child-centered teaching practices. The successful candidate actively creates a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, learning, and healthy development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and learning activities aligned with early childhood education standards.

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment for pre-school learners.

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through structured and play-based learning.

  • Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s learning and well-being.

  • Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and appropriate learning materials.

  • Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and respect among learners.

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities.

  • Adhere to school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and professional standards.

    Educational Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.

    • Previous teaching experience at the pre-school level will be an advantage.

    • Strong understanding of child development and early learning methodologies.

      Additional Requirements

      • Must be residing in or around Tema – Dawhenya.

      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

      • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

      • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented school environment.

      • High level of professionalism, responsibility, and care.
