Role Overview

The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air-conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires hands-on technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair air-conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in AC systems efficiently and accurately.

• Conduct routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manufacturer specifications during all installations and repairs.

• Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports on completed work.

• Advise clients on proper operation, maintenance, and energy-efficient use of AC systems.

• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and safe.

  Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience as an AC Technician or in a related role.

  • NABPT (National Board for Professional Technicians) certification or equivalent.

  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components of air-conditioning systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various AC models.
