Position Overview
God’s Glory Hospital seeks a young, vibrant, and detail-oriented Account Clerk to support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive and structured environment that values accuracy, integrity, teamwork, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Records and Data Entry
- Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
- Enter financial data into accounting systems and ensure data integrity.
Accounts Support
- Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Support the processing of payments and tracking of expenses.
- Reconcile accounts and highlight discrepancies for resolution.
Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in preparing basic financial reports as required.
- Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Support audits by organizing and providing required records.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with internal financial procedures.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- HND, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Must be young, energetic, and eager to learn.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
