JOB DESCRIPTION: ACCOUNT CLERK (FULL-TIME)

Position Overview

God’s Glory Hospital seeks a young, vibrant, and detail-oriented Account Clerk to support the finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth day-to-day accounting operations.

The successful candidate will work in a supportive and structured environment that values accuracy, integrity, teamwork, and professional growth.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Records and Data Entry

  • Record daily financial transactions accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date accounting records and filing systems.
  • Enter financial data into accounting systems and ensure data integrity.

Accounts Support

  • Assist in preparing invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Support the processing of payments and tracking of expenses.
  • Reconcile accounts and highlight discrepancies for resolution.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports as required.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Support audits by organizing and providing required records.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with internal financial procedures.
  • Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • HND, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Must be young, energetic, and eager to learn.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
