Job Summary

The Accountant will manage financial reporting, ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The role holder will maintain the integrity of financial records, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to cost optimization and financial efficiency initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.

  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.

  • Conduct internal audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

  • Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management to inform business decisions.

  • Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.

  • Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and applicable tax laws.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze financial data accurately.

  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply financial regulations and reporting standards effectively.
