Job Summary
The Accountant will manage financial reporting, ensure statutory and regulatory compliance, and provide accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making. The role holder will maintain the integrity of financial records, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to cost optimization and financial efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies.
Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Conduct internal audits and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Provide financial analysis and advisory support to management to inform business decisions.
Oversee payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or financial management.
Strong working knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and applicable tax laws.
Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze financial data accurately.
High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply financial regulations and reporting standards effectively.
