Accountant (Full-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Accra. In this role, you will actively manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support sound financial decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage insurance claims, including reconciliations and follow-ups.
- Perform bank reconciliations and actively monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely statutory filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records and proper documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
You should have:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of experience managing accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Experience handling insurance claims and reconciliations.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting (added advantage).
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
