Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial records, support reporting processes, and ensure compliance with statutory and internal financial standards.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data, supporting business decision-making, and strengthening financial controls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and process accounting transactions in line with company policies
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes using the ERP system
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and submit statutory returns within required timelines
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
• Collaborate with the payroll team and support bank account management activities
• Assist in treasury operations and maintain effective relationships with banking partners
• Contribute to internal and external audit processes and implement agreed recommendations
• Identify and support cost-saving initiatives to improve financial efficiency
• Leverage ERP systems to enhance accuracy, reporting quality, and operational efficiency
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• ACCA / CA qualification (final level or fully qualified)
• Minimum of 5+ years’ accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Good knowledge of IFRS standards (preferred)
• Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office Suite
• Experience in the construction industry is an added advantage
