Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Accra office and support the delivery of high-quality financial operations.

You will actively manage receivables processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support efficient cash flow management while upholding EY’s standards of excellence and integrity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, billing, and collections
  • Monitor outstanding balances and actively follow up with clients to ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare regular accounts receivable reports and support month-end closing activities
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and efficient financial operations
  • Support audits by providing required documentation and financial data
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in receivables management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Completion of a professional accounting qualification (ICA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounts receivable or finance role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team environment
