We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin & HR Officer to support our people operations and administrative functions at our Accra office.
Position Summary
The Admin & HR Officer plays a key role in supporting day-to-day administrative operations and human resource functions. This position ensures smooth office operations, supports employee lifecycle processes, and promotes compliance with Ghanaian labor laws and internal policies.
The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to work independently while supporting a growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Functions
The Admin & HR Officer will:
Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and onboarding of new staff.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
Support payroll preparation, leave administration, and staff attendance tracking.
Ensure compliance with Ghanaian labor laws and internal HR policies.
Assist in performance management processes and staff welfare initiatives.
Respond to staff HR-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Administrative Functions
The Admin & HR Officer will:
Manage day-to-day office administration to ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.
Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
Support travel arrangements, meetings, and logistics as required.
Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Support management with administrative reports and correspondence.
Drive official vehicles when required and support field or operational activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar administrative and human resources role.
Skills and Competencies
Good knowledge of Ghanaian labor laws and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Valid Ghana DVLA driver’s license with the ability to drive when required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
