Role Overview:
The Administrative and Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, manage administrative processes, and provide strategic guidance to support organizational objectives. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance with Ghanaian tax codes and regulations.
Oversee administrative functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Implement and maintain accounting principles, country charts of accounts, and procedures for awarding public contracts in Ghana.
Prepare accurate financial statements, forecasts, and reports for management and stakeholders.
Lead, mentor, and develop finance and administrative teams to optimize performance and cohesion.
Ensure internal controls, risk management, and compliance with statutory requirements.
Promote effective communication, collaboration, and integration across departments.
Contribute to strategic planning and support decision-making processes with financial insights.
Educational & Professional Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Chartered Accounting certification is advantageous.
Knowledge of accounting principles, country charts of accounts, Ghana tax code, and public procurement procedures.
Fluency in French with strong oral and written communication skills is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
3–5 years of experience as a Finance and Administrative Manager or 10 years of experience as an Accountant.
Strong team management, organizational, and leadership skills.
Rigorous, curious, responsive, honest, and excellent in communication and integration within teams.
