We are seeking a competent and highly organized Administrative Assistant to provide professional secretarial and administrative support to management.


Position Summary

The Administrative Assistant (Secretarial Duties) provides high-level administrative and secretarial support to management and ensures the smooth coordination of office operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to management.

  • Prepare, type, and manage official correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.

  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, schedules, and office activities efficiently.

  • Maintain accurate filing systems and institutional records (both electronic and manual).

  • Handle incoming and outgoing official communications promptly and professionally.

  • Supervise junior administrative staff where applicable and ensure effective task delivery.

  • Support departmental planning and administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a senior administrative or secretarial role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and prepare professional documents.
