Position Summary
Preset Pacesetters Senior High School is seeking a professional, organized, and student-focused Non-Teaching Admissions Officer to manage admissions processes and provide excellent support to prospective students, parents, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will coordinate admissions activities, maintain accurate records, respond to enquiries, and support the school’s enrolment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Manage the school’s admissions process from enquiry through enrolment and registration.
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students, parents, and guardians seeking admission information.
- Provide accurate information about school programmes, admission requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, walk-in enquiries, and online admissions requests.
- Coordinate school tours, admission interviews, assessments, and orientation activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date admissions records, databases, and student files.
- Review application documents to ensure completeness and compliance with admission requirements.
- Support the preparation of admission reports, enrolment statistics, and management updates.
- Follow up with prospective families throughout the admissions process to provide guidance and support.
- Assist with student registration, documentation, and onboarding activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and family information at all times.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative departments to ensure a smooth admissions experience.
- Support admissions campaigns, school open days, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Monitor admission trends and provide feedback to management to support enrolment strategies.
- Maintain professional relationships with parents, students, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by school management.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should possess:
- A Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Administration, Public Relations, Communication, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in admissions, customer service, administration, sales, marketing, or a related role.
- Experience working in a school or educational institution will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of admissions procedures, student records management, and administrative practices.
