Role Overview
PayAngel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support the finance function and ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial management. This role plays a key part in strengthening internal controls, supporting decision-making, and maintaining financial integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation and review of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Monitor financial transactions and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Support audits, regulatory reporting, and internal control processes
Analyze financial data to support management decision-making
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and efficiency
Ensure timely completion of tasks while meeting reporting deadlines
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACCA or ICA qualification preferred)
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial best practices
Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
