Role Overview
The Assistant Manager – Institutional Reporting plays a key role in coordinating institutional reporting, supporting monitoring and knowledge functions, and ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of organizational performance information.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the preparation of institutional reports, including periodic, annual, and ad-hoc reports.
Compile, analyze, and synthesize data from multiple departments to support evidence-based reporting.
Support monitoring, evaluation, and knowledge management processes within the institution.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of institutional data and narrative reports.
Develop and maintain reporting templates, guidelines, and documentation standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to track performance indicators and institutional outputs.
Prepare briefs, summaries, and presentations for management and external stakeholders.
Support compliance with public sector reporting requirements, policies, and frameworks.
Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting systems and knowledge-sharing practices.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Statistics, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.
A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience, with at least 2 years in a reporting, monitoring, evaluation, or knowledge management role.
Demonstrated experience in data analysis, institutional reporting, or performance management within public or development sector environments.
