We are seeking a highly motivated Associate – Ghana to join our team in Accra.

Role Overview

The Associate – Ghana plays a key role in delivering high-quality advisory services to clients by supporting transaction execution, financial analysis, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and evolving environments.

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who is passionate about impact, investment, and building resilient businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of advisory engagements, including financial analysis, modeling, and valuation

• Assist clients with company fundraising processes, including investor preparation and due diligence

• Conduct market, sector, and company research to inform investment decisions

• Prepare high-quality presentations, investment memoranda, and client deliverables

• Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, including investors, banks, entrepreneurs, and internal teams

• Support transaction processes from origination through close

• Contribute to business development efforts and proposal preparation

• Travel as required to support client engagements and fieldwork

  Qualifications, Education, and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in top-tier banking, consulting, private equity, or a similar environment

  • MBA or other advanced degree is highly regarded

  • Experience working with SMEs, agriculture businesses, or impact investment is strongly preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French

  • Familiarity with company fundraising processes, including investor due diligence

  • Proven ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders across sectors

  • Willingness to work and live in sometimes-challenging environments and travel when required

  • Strong sense of initiative with a passion for creating lasting change in underserved markets

  • Ability to operate comfortably in ambiguous and rapidly changing contexts
