Position Overview

The Associate Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain will provide strategic academic leadership in teaching, research, and programme development. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong record of scholarly publications, contribute to institutional growth, mentor junior faculty, and strengthen the University’s research and academic profile.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

• Lead curriculum development, review, and accreditation processes within the programme.

• Supervise postgraduate research, theses, and dissertations.

• Conduct impactful research and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

• Provide academic leadership within the department and across the University.

• Mentor junior faculty and support their professional development.

• Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and academic governance.

• Build partnerships with industry and professional bodies to enhance programme relevance.

Educational Requirements & Experience

• PhD in a relevant field (Logistics and Supply Chain Programme).

• Minimum of eight (8) years post-PhD teaching and research experience.

• Strong publication record in reputable academic journals.

• Proven record of scholarly publications and academic leadership.

• Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching and research supervision.
