Position Summary
The Auditor will support the planning and execution of audits, inspections, and assessments across agricultural, horticultural, food, and related industries. The role involves reviewing processes, evaluating compliance with established standards, preparing audit reports, and providing valuable insights that support certification and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals to gain practical experience and build a rewarding career in auditing and certification services.
Key Responsibilities
The Auditor will:
- Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments in accordance with established standards, procedures, and certification requirements.
- Evaluate operational processes, systems, and practices to determine compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Collect, review, and analyze documentation and evidence during audit activities.
- Prepare accurate audit reports and document findings, observations, and recommendations.
- Identify non-conformities and support corrective action processes where required.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality throughout audit assignments.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure effective audit planning and execution.
- Stay informed on industry regulations, standards, and emerging trends relevant to the agriculture and food sectors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization and among client organizations.
- Travel to various locations to conduct field audits and assessments as required.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science, or a related agriculture or food-based discipline.
- Additional training or certifications in quality management, food safety, auditing, or related fields will be an advantage.
