Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Bakery Production Manager to lead our production team in Kasoa. You will oversee daily bakery operations, ensure consistent product quality, and drive efficiency while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily bakery production schedules to meet demand.
  • Ensure timely delivery of baked goods while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring optimal stock management.
  • Enforce strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all operations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet company and regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate bakery staff to achieve performance goals.
  • Assign tasks effectively, monitor staff performance, and promote a positive team culture.
  • Manage shift schedules and address staffing challenges promptly.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Oversee maintenance of bakery equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
  • Track production costs and support budget management initiatives.
  • Prepare and present daily and weekly production reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in bakery production or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery operations, production planning, and quality control.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
