Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all banquets, conferences, corporate events, and special functions across assigned locations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless execution of events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.

• Develop detailed event plans, including menus, seating layouts, staffing, equipment, and service timelines.

• Coordinate closely with kitchen leadership to ensure menu execution, dietary requirements, and quality standards are met.

• Supervise event service teams, assign duties, and ensure high standards of presentation, professionalism, and guest experience.

• Monitor event budgets, cost control, and profitability while maintaining service excellence.

• Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and pre-event briefings to ensure flawless delivery.

• Handle client feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally during and after events.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations for all banqueting and conference operations.

• Prepare operational reports, analyze event performance, and recommend improvements for future functions.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 5–7 years of hospitality experience, with at least 3 years in banqueting, conference, or events management.

• Proven ability to manage large-scale events, corporate functions, and high-profile gatherings.

• Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent client relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Solid understanding of event logistics, food & beverage operations, and cost control.

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.

• High level of professionalism, problem-solving ability, and commitment to delivering premium experiences.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
