Job Description and Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and oversee all banquets, conferences, corporate events, and special functions across assigned locations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless execution of events from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
Develop detailed event plans, including menus, seating layouts, staffing, equipment, and service timelines.
Coordinate closely with kitchen leadership to ensure menu execution, dietary requirements, and quality standards are met.
Supervise event service teams, assign duties, and ensure high standards of presentation, professionalism, and guest experience.
Monitor event budgets, cost control, and profitability while maintaining service excellence.
Conduct site inspections, client meetings, and pre-event briefings to ensure flawless delivery.
Handle client feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally during and after events.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hospitality regulations for all banqueting and conference operations.
Prepare operational reports, analyze event performance, and recommend improvements for future functions.
Requirements
Degree or professional qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of hospitality experience, with at least 3 years in banqueting, conference, or events management.
Proven ability to manage large-scale events, corporate functions, and high-profile gatherings.
Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent client relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Solid understanding of event logistics, food & beverage operations, and cost control.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
High level of professionalism, problem-solving ability, and commitment to delivering premium experiences.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
