Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Basketball Trainer to join our full-time coaching team. The successful candidate will create a welcoming, structured, and high-performance training environment that supports athlete development and fosters confidence, discipline, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured basketball training programs for athletes at different skill levels
• Create a welcoming, disciplined, and motivating training environment for players and coaching staff
• Develop athletes’ technical skills, physical fitness, and game understanding
• Assess player performance and provide clear, constructive feedback for improvement
• Support athletes’ personal development, discipline, and teamwork values
• Collaborate with coaches and academy staff to align training goals and standards
• Ensure a safe, organized, and productive training environment at all times
• Track player progress and maintain training records where required
• Represent the academy professionally during training sessions, events, and competitions

Educational Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field
• Certification in basketball coaching or strength and conditioning is an added advantage
• Proven experience in basketball training, coaching, or athlete development
• Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals, training methods, and player development
• Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and high-performance environment
