Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee all branch operations, ensure compliance, and drive business growth. The successful candidate will actively manage the branch team, including Credit Officers, Tellers, Field Bankers, and Operations Staff, while fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all branch operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Supervise and mentor branch staff, including Credit Officers, Tellers, Field Bankers, and Operations personnel.

  • Oversee loan processing, approvals, and credit management in line with company policies.

  • Monitor branch performance, including sales targets, operational KPIs, and risk management.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and company policies.

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow branch business and enhance client relationships.

  • Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement.

  • Maintain a welcoming, safe, and productive environment for staff and clients.

  • Report branch performance and operational issues to senior management in a timely manner.

    Educational Requirements

    • Degree or Master’s in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

    • Preferably with experience in banking or microfinance operations.


    Experience Requirements

    • Proven experience managing branch operations, credit management, and customer service.

    • Hands-on experience leading teams including Credit Officers, Tellers, Field Bankers, and Operations Staff.

    • Strong knowledge of microfinance or banking products, processes, and compliance requirements.
