Role Overview

Direct Savings and Loans Limited is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Officer to drive business growth, expand market presence, and strengthen client relationships. The successful candidate will actively identify new business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and contribute to the company’s revenue and portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the company’s customer base

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients

  • Promote the company’s financial products and services to target markets

  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and market analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activity

  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement growth strategies

  • Monitor performance against business targets and contribute to revenue growth

  • Represent the company professionally at business meetings and networking events

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./B.A.) in Business Communication or a related field

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in business development or a similar role

  • Strong understanding of financial products and customer acquisition strategies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and meet performance targets

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
