Role Overview

The Business Development Officer drives revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and promoting IT-based solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of technology products and services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business value for clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within the IT and technology market.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to drive long-term partnerships.

• Present and promote IT solutions and services to clients, clearly articulating technical features and business benefits.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.

• Prepare business proposals, quotations, and presentations aligned with client requirements and company objectives.

• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.

• Support contract negotiations and contribute to closing sales opportunities.

• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales activities using CRM or reporting tools.

• Provide regular reports on business development performance, pipeline status, and market insights.

  Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years’ experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial role within an IT or technology-driven environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to sell or promote IT products, services, or solutions.

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be residing in Accra, Ghana.

    • Strong understanding of IT concepts, digital solutions, or technology services.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as within a team.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
