Role Summary

We are seeking responsible and safety-conscious Cargo Drivers to join our logistics team. The successful candidates will ensure the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods, contributing to smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate cargo vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations.

• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any issues.

• Load, secure, and unload cargo properly to prevent damage or loss.

• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation.

• Adhere to road safety regulations, company policies, and transport compliance standards.

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and colleagues.

• Monitor vehicle condition and coordinate routine maintenance.

Educational Qualification

• Basic education (e.g., BECE or equivalent) is an advantage.

Experience & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with the appropriate class for cargo vehicles.

• Prior experience as a cargo or delivery driver is preferred.

• Good knowledge of Tema, Kpone, and surrounding delivery routes.

• Strong understanding of vehicle safety and road regulations.

• Ability to work long hours and handle extended trips when required.

• Responsible, reliable, and disciplined with a professional attitude.

• Effective time management and route planning skills.

• Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle checks.

• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
