Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Chief Driver to lead the company’s driving team, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of personnel and goods. The successful candidate will supervise drivers, manage vehicle operations, and uphold the highest safety standards on all company trips.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the company’s team of drivers, providing guidance, training, and performance oversight.

• Safely operate company vehicles for transportation of personnel, clients, and materials.

• Plan and coordinate routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries and pickups.

• Maintain vehicles in excellent working condition, performing routine checks and reporting any issues.

• Ensure strict adherence to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Keep accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.

• Mentor and support drivers in safe and efficient driving practices.

• Maintain familiarity with Accra roads and the national highway network to optimize travel.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Ghana Driver’s License (Class B or higher).

• Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.

• Police Clearance Certificate.

• Minimum 10 years of professional driving experience.

• At least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accra roads and Ghana’s highway network.

• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

• High level of responsibility, reliability, and integrity.
