Job Summary

The role involves design review, site supervision, quality control, and coordination with project stakeholders. The successful candidate contributes directly to project success and continuous improvement in construction practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor civil engineering works on construction sites

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, designs, and technical specifications

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved designs, quality standards, and safety regulations

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams to achieve project milestones

• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress, quality, and technical reports

• Monitor material usage and workmanship to ensure quality and cost efficiency

• Identify technical issues on site and implement effective engineering solutions

• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management activities

Educational Qualification & Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Civil Engineering

• Professional certification with a recognized engineering body

• Minimum of four (4) years’ relevant experience in the field of civil engineering

• Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
