Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Class Teacher (English and History) to join our academic team. You will deliver engaging and structured lessons, promote academic excellence, and foster a positive and disciplined classroom environment.

You will support students’ intellectual, moral, and social development while contributing to the broader life of the school community.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English and History in line with the school curriculum.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.

• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback.

• Maintain accurate academic records and reports.

• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Uphold and model Christian values and school policies.

• Participate actively in staff meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

• Engage positively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and welfare.

Educational & Professional Requirements

You must:

• Hold a B.Ed. in English or a closely related qualification (required).

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar setting, preferably in a Private Christian Primary or JHS school.

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.

• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Show commitment to Christian education and student character development.
