Job Summary

FYG seeks a proactive and skilled Communication Officer to strengthen our messaging, public relations, and media engagement. The successful candidate will actively design, implement, and manage communication strategies that amplify FYG’s mission and impact for farmers across Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies that align with FYG’s mission.

• Produce high-quality content for digital platforms, newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.

• Manage FYG’s social media accounts and website content to ensure consistent messaging and engagement.

• Coordinate media outreach, partnerships, and public relations initiatives.

• Support the documentation of FYG’s programs, success stories, and farmer impact.

• Monitor communication effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with program teams to ensure messaging reflects field activities and organizational goals.

• Maintain the organization’s professional image and brand identity across all communication channels.

  Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, or a related field.
