Role Summary

The Construction Foreman provides on-site leadership and supervises daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on coordination, and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction site operations and workforce activities.
• Lead, motivate, and manage site workers, subcontractors, and trades to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to guide execution of work.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule and quality standards.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Coordinate the use of materials, tools, and equipment to avoid delays and wastage.
• Identify and resolve on-site challenges and escalate critical issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance, and material usage.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Relevant technical certification or vocational training in construction or a related field is an advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams on-site.
