Madamfo Ghana Foundation is seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Construction Manager to lead major community-based building projects in remote areas of Ghana.

Location: Remote project site, Ghana

Contract: 6-12 months (renewable, project-based)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines, and standards.
• Quality & Certification: Assess and certify construction stages for compliance and safety.
• Reporting: Prepare progress reports, documentation, and material records for management and donors.
• Team Supervision: Coordinate on-site personnel, ensuring efficient workflows and safety compliance.
• Budget & Procurement: Manage costs, prepare estimates, and secure fair pricing for materials and services.
• Community Relations: Work closely with local leaders and residents to support Inclusive project implementation.
• Payroll & Safety: Oversee labour payments and maintain strong health and safety protocols.

Qualification & Competence

• Diploma/Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects with stage certification.
• Strong skills in MS Word and Excel; AutoCAD knowledge advantageous.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Proven leadership in managing diverse tearns.
• Adaptability to remote, resource-limited environments.
• High integrity, accountability, and resilience under pressure.
